Festivity Summer 2025

From 31 May to 21 September, 2025, Adverse Camber ran outdoor storytelling activities for families at 10 dates, in locations across Derbyshire, as part of Arts Derbyrshire's Festivity 2025.

Festivity 2025 was a vibrant family friendly countywide tour created by Arts Derbyshire and the Tent People, travelling to Bolsover, Stavely Waterside, Erewash, Tapton Lock and Melbourne with a magical mini-tented village, filled with artists, performers and audiences at each site.

Adverse Camber provided storytelling each day, led by two fabulous storytellers - festival favourite, travelling storyteller Ian Douglas and resident storyteller from Matlock Storytelling Café Rachel Murray.  Thanks to support from the Leche Trust, we supported emerging or established Derbyshire based or regional storytellers to be part of the programme.

Here's some of the photos from Festivity 2025
